Diff and patch, two utils you have to learn and understand, not only for coding but also for managing the OS. Diff is the keystone in tools like git. And more, Github and so many were not exists without diff.

Usually, I use "meld" when I compare files, but that is a GUI program.

dropped at 8:03. this is supposed to be about diff. LCC is off my list. just a sales pitch, only a cloud that doesn't cloud seems to be a poor marketing plan.

I miss the difference of seeing the difference in 2 folders. if you run a backup on a folder and want to know that all files were included.
