We traveled to Ecuador this past July. If you are bored in Ecuador then you are a boring person. It is a diverse and beautiful country. Boring? WOW.

Bro, if you got boring in Ecuador, it’s your fault. Ecuador has 4 regions, each with their own beauty and activities! The best part it’s that they’re really close. In 5 hours you can be in the coast and then in the Amazonas.

I'm 18 years old Danish boy, who has lived alone in Ecuador for 2 years, I lived there from 2019-2021. For me, it was the best experience I have had in my life. there is the coolest atmosphere in Ecuador and people are just happy and helpful. I lived in southern Ecuador but have been around the country many times. Ecuador has the best people, the most beautiful nature, unique culture, and the coolest parties! I have nevertheless traveled in 38 different countries around the world and Ecuador is clearly at the top:)

There are certainly reasons you shouldn’t go to Ecuador and I’ll say this now: these reasons ain’t it. You call yourself a backpacker but seem to miss the point of backpacking all together. If you’re looking for other tourists then save the money to go to high tourist spots. If your looking for parties but don’t want it to be cold? Pick a better season to go. You’re not going to go to the Caribbean islands in peak rain season. Backpacking is about living and enjoying the life style and the people from the locations you visit not staying at luxury hotels with loads of people who speak your own native language. If that’s what you wanted save more money and do exactly that. This video starts off with a promising title for people who aren’t sure about coming here but just ends up being a boring video itself that’s totally un informative on legitimate reasons you shouldn’t go to Ecuador. Not only that but this dude comes off disrespectful and now I’m not even slightly inclined to watch another video cause he’ll probably be disrespectful and un informative in that one too. I’m glad no one is really enjoying this video lmfao

Was hast du denn erwartet was du dort alles sehen wirst? Ich bin in Deutschland geboren und habe mein Leben lang hier gelebt, aber habe dort Familie, klar ist meine Haltung dadurch emotional… ein Land aber „langweilig“ zu nennen.. finde nicht, dass man sich nach 5 Wochen schon eine Meinung dazu bilden. Bored?! Only of this video. You obviously are not a very good guide! Ecuador is beautiful and with to many things to see and do in a short time. Learning a little Spanish will help you in your travels to Spanish speaking countries. Sorry, but thumbs down! 👎🏼

People always will want that someone speak the best way about their country, every single country have a history, a culture, amazing places, food, biodiversity, you're opinion is completely acceptable, but I don't think the same, Ecuador have lots of fun stuff, so it is more about the person that speaks, than of the country in itself

What he is referring to is the closed nature of Ecuadorian culture and the lack of socialization between strangers. Unlike in Europe, Asia, or North America, Ecuador does not have bars or clubs to meet new people. Ecuadorian "bars" are what gringos would call "restaurants that serve alcohol". Ecuadorians go to the "bar" with their family and close friends, order wings and beer, sitting at a table together. The concept of sitting on a barstool talking to the bartender, standing around socializing, or dancing with someone new is not actually a thing. So, yeah, for nightlife it is totally boring. But if waterfall hikes, rafting, birdwatching, architecture, or beautiful vistas are your jam, it's def NOT boring

Did you catch that video by the Ukrainian girl who is in Ecuador? She was invited to go visit the beaches by some Ecuadorian friends. On the drive there, they were stopped by two armed men who kidnapped them, took them to a secret hideout, and held them at gunpoint until they gave them the passwords to their smartphones. They robbed them of all their possessions and stole their car. The victims then had to walk barefoot to the next town.

Hey nice video... but i have a big question, im goin to travel with ny music equitpment and its worth around 6k... and ive read alot about duanas rules... they say u can only carry on with you electronics that wont be worth more than 2k... and my music equiptment is around 7k ... how wss your checkout when u arrived? Im nervous bc i dont want them to take ny equiptment or even make me pay a fee for it ...
