Waiting a year would have been a huge mistake ;)

"Hopefully, you'll be able to learn from some of my mistakes." Man, that's what character and humility look like. Thanks for sharing.

I can see myself in 10 years going to the movie theatres and buying a ticket on a movie that you directed.

Great to see this type of video. I'm not really looking to make short films, but there is still a load of information to gain from videos like this.

As someone who is currently writing their first short film, you have no idea how helpful this was.

A film is a lot like a living person. It lives and has a healthy life if it's parts work together well, but it can die painfully if 1 or more major elements just don't work out, and you have to rush to fix it before it dies. After all this, after the film is completely finished, you can sit down and remember the good times and memories.

I love hearing your stories. It's different from reading about filmmaking in a textbook, this is real and personal. I've been watching basically all of your videos the past week and I love your channel so much. I just ended my semester of a film class and I miss the creative environment, this kind of makes up for it. It makes me want to keep making movies.

Also, the production value of your channel is insane. Great job! I've been recommending you to everyone I know who's into filmmaking.

In Germany we have an Film Award, where you dont have so much time. You have 99 hours to produce a 99 second Short film. So there is not much time for writing a script or drive through a city to search locations.
Whatever its a lots of fun to run against time. :)

Thanks for all your tips in filmmaking. Making films has always been my favorite hobby and I'm taking film classes with my friends that are in digital film.

i am from India and finds it amazing that when you take second bite of that apple in the last shot its still white.
also planning to make a short film and had the idea that it will be lot of planning and hard work but didn't really know how much, you gave me a framework to think and plan accordingly.
thanks for making this.

Oh man, so good.
What amazes me is how you know all the different parts necessary for making a film.
Your script is for free, your casting room looks shabby but the way you handle it is just like it is (I think) with the big studios out there.
Kudos, and thank you for sharing.

Love it. You can't be happy with a final project or ready to get on to the next one if you don't jump in. Good job.
