How to remove jets from Keihin carburetors, found in most Japanese dirt bikes (Honda, Yamaha etc) be sure to only turn the carburettor just enough to access the jets, easy to remove them and clean if required

Always worth a google on your specific motorcycle to find the Jets that work best and how to adjust the fuel ratio screw to those specific Jets.

I found a happy middle ground with the pilot just where the screw was around half way and the idle was smooth, if you find you get a smooth idle but the screw is all the way one way or the other move up or down a jet to get the middle ground.

I did this worked sweet. Cleaned out my blocked pilot jet and cleaned the fuel bowl out and got my idle back. Cheers bro 🍻

Man I’ve been putting this job off for the last 2 years because the video I watched the bloke stripped the entire bike apart including the rear frame to take the carby out 🤦🏻‍♂️

Don't do this because the plastic piece tp the HOT START plunger that attaches to your carb will be pulled on and it can strip the plastic threads and then you will be screwed and have to buya new one and take carb all the way off anyway to put it on.
