I've seen some amazing shops and homes built using Shipping containers or shipping cans as you call them.. there's a guy on YouTube that built an amazing house that resembles a castle from shipping containers. Believe he's in Pennsylvania

Square nails are not "easier to forge". Wire nails are the cheap imitation of square nails. There is no advantage I know of for round nails except that they are cheap and available.
