I was positively surprised this debate was without hatred and disgust.
They were both respectful towards each other.
That is how a political debate is supposed to go!

I must admit, tension was sky high prior to the debate coz we expected the usual vitriol and toxic rhetoric, but tonight it was two gentlemen dueling but in a very respectful and civil way. Even when they disagreed, it was not with the usual divisive vile that normally accompanies it. Thank you Vance, thank Waltz and thank you MSNBC!!!

This debate was extremely respectful neither candidate insulted each other and they talked about policy like actual adults. I pray all future debates are in similar fashion and it seems like the presidential candidates need to get lessons from the vice presidents.

Great role models to our younger audience. A civil and respectful debate between two leaders. Great moderators as well.
Vance micro expressions showed agreement with Walz and vice versa.
