i loveeed this book so much especially because i’m from the iranian diaspora as well so i was able to relate to most of the issues darius was going through with him not feeling persian enough it’s quite challenging

Nice review. I have the same opinion. Persian culture was the real star of the show. I was hungry half of the time when I was reading this because of the description of food. It had such an impact on me, I consider myself to be Persian now. No. Not really, i just became partial to yogurt and flat bread now.
