How to keep sharp edges with subdivision surface modifier. Blender tutorial

A tutorial showing how to avoid smoothing of some edges on adding subdivision surface modifier in Blender to keep them sharp. In only one minute I'll show you how to do that.

For those of you wondering why the selected edge turned blue before he sharpens the edge, it's because Kridaran Art forgot to mention that after you go to edit mode you need to:

- Select the edge you want to sharpen, then ...
- RIGHT CLICK and select "Mark Sharp"

... Then you can press "Shift+G" and select "Sharpness". Hope this helps anyone who's confused by the missing step.
