I am happy that finally a lawyer said that. I, myself, am a psychologist and have worked in Police forensic teams. Most people do not realize that the Police and judges do not look for evidence. They are required to prosecute and convict. There is often no evidence at all. The police looks for contradictions and inconsistencies in the story of accused and accuser. The odds are against the accused because as I said they are haunted by protocols, statistics etc. to prosecute and convict. I know it is not fair but this is however it is unless there is more social and political desire to change the situation.

Wrong. Not in my state. NEVADA would NOT press charges against the man who touched my daughter. Because it was her word against his, and he refused an interview or lie detector test, they would not prosecute him. The detective said her only option was a civil case when she turns 18. She had no motive for the accusation and after her interview by the lead forensic child psychologist in the state, all law enforcement and child protection professionals who had anything to do with the case unanimously agreed that she was telling the truth. But, because the man she accused lived out of state and it was, thankfully, an isolated incident, the Northern Nevada Child Sexual Assault Investigators said it was useless to try to prosecute and chose not to even turn her case over to the District Attorney’s office. So this guy seems to be completely full of it and is just trying to get paid by lying about the reality of the legal system.

This is what most men talk about when we talk about the dangers of a false rape accusation. The fact that all the prosecution needs is just the "victims" testimony is very scary. This is why false rape accusations need a very stiff penalty. Do not agree with me, just go ask Brian Banks what he thinks about false rape accusations.

Who have made this sick law! It MUST be required with evidence! I´m glad i´m not living in the USA!
In Denmark (where i live) the police is required by law, to chek ALL facts, to see if some one is actually guilty!

Men, do not hesitate for one moment to put a restraining order against your female partner if you feel your safety and health is in jeopardy. Placing a permanent restraining order on my female partner was absolutely the wisest protective move of my adult lifetime. My only regret is not doing it years earlier. Men, be safe!

My cellmate was charged with Sexual Assault and minor trafficking when his ex girlfriend who had become a prostitute accused him after he refused to be with her because he had a wife and kids at that point. She trained two underage sisters to also be prostitutes and handled the money they made. She beat the hell out of the older one with a belt and also blamed that on him. I read through all the police statements and the evidence they had on him, which was none. The whore also contradicted herself many times in statements and changed the story, but the Prosecutor still wouldn't drop the charges. He went to trial and won. Women who do these false accusations are evil. He would have had to do 20 years and be registered as a sex offender the rest of his life if he lost. The Prosecutor is no better, they knew he was innocent

What about a covert narcassist who has decided to get rid of her step father because she is trying to get her way and he is establishing rules and boundaries? I am assisting a client in the production of his defence as he cannot afford the lawyers cost. Surly lieing is a crime? Teenagers lie an average of 3 times a day according to studies and in this case, the step daughter was smoking, seeing boys, wagging school, not getting up.... ruining the family... Then they have to move towns and she doesn't want to. Next minute she tells her Aunty (who is against the step father) and a charge is made. Yes a jury could see this but she also shows the full psychosis of a covert narc. The victim of this crime is the accused. No evidence, just a teen age girl wanting to rule the house. Entire family is ruined, and she doesn't blink an eye. This is a potential issue for every man getting involved with an established family. Be very carefull.

What in this case, happened in Colorado pastor of a church accused of sexual harassment, women have come forward saying he tried paying them to sleep with him, texting pic of his genitals, has witnesses of him picking up high school girl from school and leave with him, most of the people have bin paid off to not speak or have bin threatened by his church members. When your assulted by the police department and state people there's nothing you can do When you have an ex-husband with a chief of police brother and all the cops are threatening you you're kind of out of luck and then if you do speak up your life is completely over 15 years later and I'm being victimized everyday and can't find anyone that will actually help unless you have a very large amount of money and honest lawyers you're not going to get help and then you've got to worry about being protected like some of the other comments I've mentioned because they send people the threaten you on a constant basis

I mean in some countries like france and new york, it's guilty first until proven innocent when it's come to crime against children. So that's children are safe in these countries and are accepted alot when the more little they are.
