Glad you enjoyed using it! Definitely agree with all of your points but I definitely didn't realize how great the battery is just having got used to it! We've been on Sony for 2 years now and still can't get over the fiddly menu system and that flip-out screen is definitely annoying! We are thinking about upgrading to an a7 siii or fx3 in the not too distant future!

I started with Canon back in the mid 80s, in the film days. Stayed pretty loyal to Canon thru the years. I have shot with Mamiya medium format, Pentax 6x7 and Hasselblad. Got great results with all. I now own Canon 6D and 7D, Nikon D810 and the Sony A7iii. Love the Sony. I do mostly music photography so low light performance is important.
The Sony handles high ISO very nicely. I would recommend this camera to anyone.

I currently have an a7iii but am thinking to upgrade to the a7iv, simplly because I want to be able to record in 4k 60 and also a the 10bit recording option too

Good morning, i am a canon user and wanting more out of the camera and looking at this camera as with the d7 mark ii i am needing eye AF and faster AF as do animal and sports photography do you recomend this camera

Another great future is the 'Imaging edge' apps that allows you to pair the camera to your Phone and/or Laptop with wifi: you can see as a monitor, send the pictures 'live' to the devices AND you can use your devices as a remote shutter. (HOWEVER: I had a bad experience after an update (on Mac): the devices were no longer compatible.. Sony support sent me to Apple.. who sent me back to Sony ..).
