I love how Norm can put a punch line in the middle of the joke and bring the joke to the punchline, a true master of the art.

I cried when he died. Never thought I would cry at someone’s passing that I didn’t know. I guess he was such a genuine soul with such innocence, brilliance, bravery, and heart that I was touched deeper than I thought. Definitely one of the greatest to do it. I loved Norm.

Notice how once he started the joke she immediately gave him all her attention, even turned a bit to make sure she's watching him straight up.
The amount of respect he got from other comedians was next level

The funniest part wasn’t even the punchline. It was the, “It’s kind of a woman’s empowerment joke” comment in the middle. Classic Norm.

"It's kind of a woman empowerment joke" was the true punchline of the joke. The fact that it technically *was* a lady empowerment joke then made the punchline an antijoke.

Norm always running circles around everyone.

God every comedian I watch hang out of talk about Norm. Their eyes light up. He must have been an amazing person. I have never seen a person close to him not just almost get emotional when talking about him.
