My 3 dogs died of cancer and I live near fields that were once Orchards but the Farmer sold his land and the grass has been turned yellow by spraying weed killer, they use this in play grounds where children play.  Councils will not listen to me !!  Glad you spoke about it also. Win from UK

I used to work for a helicopter spraying company I was young only 16 I work with the helicopter everyday spraying mostly glyphostate for about a year. I would wear the safe gear etc but I would still get it on my skin from splashing while mixing it. the pilot would also spray near me and the drift would sometimes get on me . I once went toliet and found awhole lot of blood in my doc said my intestines where swollen.i stopd working there shortly after that .

Great to find this. I have a lot to learn. My mother sprayed glyphosate on my grass under my olive tree last year perhaps August or a few months later. During summer ( December, January and February ) Western Australia. I observed the olives growing. I noticed the olives were fully grown but not turning dark. Staying green with many turning half dark and remaining like that. This didn't change from early this year till now. There are some areas where the olives have turned dark. Higher up in the tree.
Earlier today my brother and mother argued vehemently. It was a very hight denial argument with myself about what I mentioned about the olives. My mother and brother would absolutely not accept what I said. Well it is the first year that the birds have not eaten the olives. I said to my mother, you are not even considering what Im saying and are in denial. I looked at the tree and noticed the roots running along the ground so the plants under the tree, the glyphosate goes right into the roots of whatever they are sprayed on.
My mother said I'm not looking after the plant. I mentioned I have left the tree to its own device since I moved in and I removed a steel post hanging on the tree. Since that time, the tree grew well and had many olives. The birds loved eating the olives leaving many on the ground.
To me, it is too much of a coincidence of this occurrence.
My mother has some roses in the front yard. I noticed the leaves suffering turning a copper brown and some with unhealthy looking leaves not upper brown but also discoloured. I found out today my mother is spraying around the rose trees. Although she says a little away. I will observe. One thing I told me mother and brother, you are in denial and ignorant to not even acknowledge this.

This is amazing lecture on the issues of toxicity exposures to the glphosate product that I know first hand that it causes siezures and gut sicknesses. I'm a farmer who used the product and stopped using it, and noticed the effects of the products. However, I'm not a Democrat and not endorsing any political policy on the subject. Anyone with half a brain should see the data and realize the cost and effects of use of glphosate. It should be band everywhere.

When phosphate ore is refined into elemental phosphorous, it leaves a radioactive by-product known as slag. Monsanto’s elemental phosphorous facility, situated just a few miles from its phosphate mines, produces prodigious quantities of slag that contains elevated concentrations of radioactive material. For years, this slag was actually sold to the town of Soda Springs and nearby Pocatello, and people built their homes and roadways out it. In the 1980s, however, the EPA conducted a radiological survey of the community and warned that citizens might be at risk from elevated gamma ray exposure. The study concluded that if business continued as usual in Soda Springs, within four decades “the probability of contracting cancer due to exposure from elemental phosphorous slag” would “be about one chance in 2, 500 in Pocatello and one chance in 700 in Soda Springs.”
