How to Reset Oil Light: Mazda 3 2014, 2015, 2016.

(Available for Most Makes and Models)

This video will show you step by step instructions on how to reset your oil life indicator on a Mazda 3 2014-2016

1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
2. By turning the main control button, select the (A) Applications icon.
3. Select Maintenance to display the maintenance list screen and select Oil Change.
4. Select Reset and click again on reset on the pop-up window.
5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
6. DONE!!! :D

I’m dealing with a 2014 Mazda 3 has no steering wheel buttons or center screen but it’s got the wrench icon so I’m a bit stumped

Help ... I've read your replies MD and after my oil light coming on about 10 days ago and oil and filter changed on my 2014 2.2d the light has come back on. The garage (not Mazda) ran it on their diagnostic machine and found no errors, they also checked oil pressure and confirmed oil is getting to the engine. They have reset the service on the onboard computer to off and the light is off but am I safe now or should I do anything else? Am a paranoid wreck ATM thinking I will damage the engine.

Can you advice how I could reset 2014 Mazda 6 2.2 diesel low pressure oil light?..The Mazda dealer told me once the oil has changed, it needs to reset the system..They could do it for me but the rate they charge is ridiculous.. I have tried access via maintenance, I can set mileage and distance, but the low pressure oil signal is still showing.. please help and advice.. For ever grateful.

That is not a 2014 or 2015 that is a 2016. The 2014 did not come with the big touch screen
