State-of-the-art polyphonic tuning comes to the Pitchblack Series. Enjoy the acclaimed Pichblack metering and pedalboard format with fast and convenient polyphonic tuning. The Pitchblack Poly checks the tuning status of all six strings at once; the String Seeker feature automatically detects which string is being tuned. In addition to saving time and effort, polyphonic tuning is ideal for players using a floating tremolo system. This video shows each of the Pitchblack Poly meter modes: Regular, Full-Strobe, Half-Strobe, and Split metering. This rugged and reliable tuner features a diecast aluminum body, and the bright, easy-to-see illuminated surface design provides optimal viewing in any environment, from shredding on a darkened stage to strumming in the sun.

TTK sent me here!
I'm glad Korg is getting into the niche of poly tuners. It is always good to have competition to drive the technology foward!

I have always been a fan of Korg tuners, I really want this tuner for my board I am building in order to stay "in tune in June".

This is an awesome piece of equipment. It seems really practical. I usually tune after every other song onstage, or before I play guitar on every track when I record just to make sure. This seems like it can be really helpful, especially for convenience while tracking in the studio.

I had a Pitchblack without the poly, sold it, bought the mini polytune because it was small and I didn't know the Pitchblack was upgraded to polyphonic. The Korg always tracked quickly where the TC was only as fast and accurate on individual strings at first and then seemed to get a tad stubborn.

Still love my AW-2 clip on tuner, the fastest and most accurate digital tuner I’ve owned but it’s not polyphonic and I am now addicted.

I usually tune every time I pick up my guitar just to sound better, but this coming semester at school I'll be playing on stage with the worship band. I only have a handheld tuner right now, so a pedal is going to be a must to be sure I'm in tune every song depending on capo use. I've never owned a pedal tuner, but I've heard a lot about this one, and it sounds like just what I need!

Staying tuned is the only way of moving forward in your life. And all the credit goes to the DETUNING part.... Cos if we didn't know what detuning can do to us, tuning would have never been possible... :)

During a show I was playing a solo when I realised the G string was about a step down out of tune so basicly I had to play all of the notes on the G string two frets higher on the neck, luckaly no one even noticed it xD. My birthday is next week and this tuner would a great gift xD

Totally understand you with the "speed" concept . I would have that delay with my tuners. Great advice man.

When I'm at home, I always tune before I practice - it also helps with my ear training, and being able to sing a pitch and play it.

I tune after a set of 2 to 3 songs. tuning is important to me because if my instrument doesn't sound like my accompaniment meant it really hurts my confidence. I've been to a couple of outside acoustic shows that it becomes a hassle for the performers to stay in tune and they seemed to just ignore it. it usually depends on the strings and environment but tuning after at the most 3 songs is recommended.

I play slide on a a tenor guitar and an acoustic lap steel and I use lots of different open tunings, so I am constantly retuning. It's either retune or buy a dozen guitars dedicated to specific tuning.

For TTK: I tune after every 3 songs are so. I've never seen one but I've had it happen to me many times due to cheap tuners. I have to tune usually after 3-5 songs depending on how hard I'm hitting. I tune pretty quickly so on stage in between songs usually. I was playing a show at a house party and my low E just decided to unwind itself. My other guitarist kept playing as I continued to smash my guitar and throw it into the audience. It was pretty awesome, haha.

Me and my father had been playing in a band for a year without a tuner. I don't know how we managed to do that... We used to tune to a mp3 from a cell phone and it would take at least 5 minutes! Not to mention how annoying it was for the other band members. Finally we went on stage with a big band and they let us use their tuner and from that moment on I knew we had to do something. That night our performance became a lot less amateur!

Great Tuner. I had the earlier model, it was perfect, then I dropped it down a huge flight of concrete stairs, now I need a tuner.
