Oh what a mavellous bright tone quality, most ancient Korgs are not known for. ...good idea from KORG to remind us of that HQ flagship. ...totally unaware that a vintage 70s, -KORG sounds that lush & bright.

It looks a lot like an upgraded 3100 from 1975. When I read about that particular model, it occurred to me that it matters largely constituted ”Past, Present and Future” of that time. In my mind that goes as follows:

Past: the advent of the modular synth
Present: the divide-down circuitry to give it polyphony
Future: the inclusion of patch memory

It's great that this modular is polyphonic. It should be outlawed to produce monophonics. [Looks at Moog Inc.]

People complain too much about this synth, I am just glad it exists.
