This is one of his better episodes. Very transparent. I wish Caleb asked more questions on what her fun time is.

Graham, When are you going to get your financial audit done?

Agreed with if you work in IT you have to actually be good to survive. Most the people who got laid off recently were the people who got hired to tech during the boom but actually don't know their ass from their elbow when it comes to actual technical work.

12:59 It can be done in a year or less. They both need to be working full-time. Double full-time. She doesn’t need to see the inside of a restaurant unless it’s her second job.

The way I yelled ‘damn’ at the 5k a week mess up 😂 I was floored.

I've always been very transparent about any debt when I had some, I told my current boyfriend of a couple of years about my situation within a month of meeting him before I even asked if he wants to be in a long term relationship with me. It's all gone now but he did appreciate the honesty and i got honesty in return so talking about finances is not taboo or whatever, most normal people appreciate the openness.

Graham, you need to do some Gen Z finance reacts as well, and not just Millennial.

Those episodes make me feel much better about my savings losing value to inflation.

this is probably a “rip the bandaid off” moment with her partner, she’s very soft spoken and obviously burdened by paying most of the bills, from her work to her willingness to help her fiancé she’s not a bad person, i’m rooting for her lol

This woman seems like she doesn't respect her fiancé. She's telling some YouTuber her financial circus situation that she's been hiding from him. That's potentially fatal for any engagement

Personally if my fiancee was in this situation I'd want to delay the wedding for at least a year.

I'd feel lied to and want to know she's committed and consistent to getting control of our finances

Granted her guy isn't a gem and should be covering half or more of the household expenses

I am skeptical she will get out. She hasn't been accountable to her fiance, she doesn't want a 2nd job because it cuts in on her "fun time."

Her fiancé needs to be in the loop, and I wouldn't recommend marrying her until she gets her act together - or else he is going to be holding the bag.

I love Caleb's videos! I found his channel because of your reactions, and in the past week I've already watched nearly all of his Financial Audits

I don't want to throw too many rocks because we were in quite a bit of debt but we were always aware of the amount of debt we had and we always paid our monthly bills and regardless of our personal circumstances and health we always received a weekly paycheck and did some side hustles. I don't recall ever thinking we deserved some "fun times" or vacations or trips but the hardest thing we ever did was to admit we had to change our ways and get our finances under control. Life on the other side of financial disaster is much better than being in the debt hole and a few years of self denial is a small price to pay for freedom.

I don't think he will leave her because that would force him to work full-time. I feel whatever sacrifices will be made will be made by her.

People who get in so much debt a lot of them don't really end up paying it off. Credit Card companies love it. They make money of the interest. It starts adding up when their are a lot of people. It's the Volume on interest they're paying not what's owned that would be paid off.

Seems like she came on this show to come clean because it's been weighing on her so heavily. I feel that

I wouldn’t get married to anyone that had unproductive debt or student loans in excess of their annual salary.

You can just date or be engaged until that standard is met.

I think in Caleb’s video she shared he had been on disability. Still no exude for them to not be taking about their/her money situation though!
