Might want to make sure you're getting plenty of fresh air down there. Might help to have a CO/CO2 sensor, with a passive failure mode. Those gasses tend to be heavier and gather at the bottom of holes plenty of people become asphyxiated in confined spaces

Hi @colinfurze, I work at a precast concrete wall manufacturer. We use plastic spacers, with small, small feet. To make sure, that the mesh, is at the right distance, during the pouring. They are called panel chairs in English. Looking forward to the next update.

I was a underground coal miner for several years. Watching this video didn't make me claustrophobia but it does make me wonder if you have anyone with you when your in such tight places? I know from experience it only takes one rock rolling out of the wall to put you in a position where you can't get yourself out.

Consider using a sacrificial zinc/anode sock. This will attract corrosion and help prevent damage to the other metal parts of the bunker. It’s similar to the zinc bars in water heater that help protect water heaters from rusting.
