Coming from a boxing background, I started MMA last year and I noticed that a lot of guys are very good grapplers, but their standup struggles because they lack these fundamentals . I recommend this video to all of my grappling guys. Great video, man.

I'm a kyokushin karate fighter (I've been practicing karate for nearly 5 years) and I also play judo (7 months till now). Today I went to a boxing gym so I can learn how to defend against face boxing since karate kyokushin doesn't allow that especially in tournaments yet I was surprised to realize that all the players didn't know nothing about the leg movements. They fought like beasts and I saw no techniques or even techniques in avoiding the boxes and so on . I thought maybe my view about boxing and what I thought it was was wrong. So when I came home, I started searching about the techniques of boxing and so on and realized the problem was with the training. That gym that I went to only cares about punching like crazy till someone gets knocked out without using the basic leg movements and techniques. To be honest, this video taught me more than that gym. Thanks. 👍

These are great. No 2 minute intro, no blah blah blah. Right to the point. Feeling fortunate to find these. Terry

So glad I found your channel. You are an excellent teacher who breaks down every move clearly. I wish I had a coach like you back when I wrestled in high school.

Footwork is so underrated. It’s so important to have this because it will help a boxer against a wrestler or Muay Thai or Tae Kwon Do kicks

Awesome! Thanks dude, I started with kickboxing a couple of years back and now doing just boxing. This is something that Ive always struggled with and was never able to adress it specifically. Hopefully I can improve with these drills. Thank you so much

I love the way you describe steps. It's almost eerie how often I follow a step and say, "what about this" and as if you heard me you address that very concern in your next statement. Very effective skill training!
