I’m one of those freaks who loves the physical mute switch. The fact that I can tell without looking at my phone if it’s on silent or not is very useful to be discreet in meetings among other things.

It would take some very fancy haptics/software engineering to replicate the ability to mute the phone without looking. If the physical buttons are on their way out, but will be on the 15, then this will be time for me to upgrade from my 13PM to the 15PM.

I prefer the current mute button. For lawyers like me, this helps a lot because we need to mute our phone on and off quickly without needing second glance whether it's off or on. The current button is so much straight forward.

I May Be Wrong, But I REALLY Hope That The iPhone 15, Or Even iPhone 16, Will Have A More iPhone 4-Esque, Design, But Also At The Same Time, Also Have Some New Innovative Takes Into The Design Like Making The Dynamic Island Smaller, And The Phone Being A Bit More Thicker Like The iPhone 4 So That It Will Have A Bigger Battery, And Bringing Back The Old Volume Up / Down Design, But Also At The Same Time Still Obtaining The Haptic Touch Feature, The Camera Design Being Entirely, And Adding A Virtual Home Button If They Want To Implement Touch ID Onto The Screen, I Also Felt Like They Should Keep The Physical Mute Switch, Or Maybe, Keep The Mute Switch BUT Add The NEW Action Button At The Place At Where The On / Off Button Was Located.

I loved the wired earphones. I have a 12pro, and I’ve had three pairs since buying my 12 pro. Two pairs fell victim to my five year old, so my third pair stays tucked away safely.

I have my 13 pro max got it at launch day and it has zero issues, I’m a heavy heavy user and the battery is at 98% … I don’t know if I will upgrade anytime soon

My gripe about Pro Max only features is that I don’t want a phone that big but I _DO_ want the Pro features. Some features may be limited by case volume but they need to keep the Pro’s value up there too.

Thank goodness. I thought for sure from the thumbnail that you were going to say the periscope zoom lens was canceled for this year. I do have a 14 pro max, but I intend to upgrade this year for the periscope zoom lens specifically. I know it seems like not a major feature to some, but I use the telephoto lens more than any other on my phone (taking pictures of sporting events where I can't get closer). Getting double the optical zoom of the current telephoto - although it's not as good as some android phones perhaps, it'll nonetheless be a pretty great improvement over what we currently have.

Why can Apple not give the non Pro models 120hz refresh? That is completely unacceptable (again). People who say it's not a big deal have never used 120hz. Its a huge deal.

Wired Earpods are actually kind of a must for many of us. Yes, I also own Airpods Pro 1 and 2. But, if you do anything that requires a helmet such as riding a motorcycle, or certain kinds of work the cord is for safety. If a wired bud falls out of my ear while I'm riding, the other bud is attached and it keeps it from falling. Same thing for exercise et cetera. The eWaste argument for getting rid of these is literally garbage as like 3 bags from Walmart have more plastic than these do.

Apple probably got the memo that some people are holding up to the iPhone 15 waiting for the USB-C. To be honest I prefer the physical connector of the lighting, is so much more compact than usb-c. USB-c should've been as compact as lightning,

I read somewhere the refresh rate of the normal iphone 15 is reduced from 60hz to 24hz to save battery. I'm super excited.
