Elf-Mage (Veil Jumper) I’m mixing it up. I’m still playing but I’ll still be Veil Jumper, Personal preference. These spell techniques is almost endless. I need to figure what works for me.

I found fire with some electric to stronger for spellblade mostly due to resistances, stacking buffs and some extra range. Dot was king too.

I just stat on all of these archetypes and built a burning based caster with will of Andraste ring. 10/10, Andraste's holy knickers I would do would do it all over again.

Watched some videos before my first playthrough in Veilguard and decided to build my “Rook” as a Veil Jumper Elf Mage. Looking to specialize in Spellbinder. We’ll see how this works out. Only a few hours in so far.

I did evoker first run. I found mage in this game really doesn't feel very...magical. Where is my heal, my firestorm, and why am I spending so much time just dodging and running away from enemies? Especially in early game.

My Rook is running spell blade with Ice fire and lighting combos great with Davrin Taash Spite and Lace

this what they called here mages are not mages at all. most of the time i must doging my enemies instead melt them with powerful spells, the fight is so unbalanced its impossible to keep agro on one of your allies instead you so mages completelly useles if you are not spellblade which is actually just like shorted version of real battle mage from the original dragon age
