Wind turbine comes crashing down

You would think that a very expensive machine with 1000s of poinds of rotating mass would have some sort of vibration and acoustic sensor that shuts it down before this happens.

These wind turbines just end up in the trash, they can’t be recycled. They disturb birds flight, they are noisy and ugly and take up huge amounts of useable land.

Hit the warranty end point so of course it will fall apart. Did anyone think about investigating the emotional impact on insects & other wildlife?! Could be some intergenerational trauma to look out for in 50 years.

What the hell we should pay more carbon tax so we can make them more stronger more faster and more waste to our tax dollars for something that don’t work
