On one hand, I'm happy Seele was available at the release of the game, since she was my favorite character in Honkai Impact 3rd. On the other hand, I'm sad our first damage dealer characters became so obsolete, now we can only wait for a new Quantum DPS to replace Seele.

The time is May 8, 2024 and there have been 3 dps character that can ignore/implant elements on the enemy I would just like to say that the niche of the monoquantum team specifically weakness implant isn't a niche anymore it's pretty sad tbh but at the same time these gen 2 dps are fun to play as and you don't need to build a team for every element now. Hey at least silver is used with acheron right now surely she won't get powercrept by another nihility that has more frequent debuffs and has sustain capabilities 💀💀💀.

to be honest, mono quantum didn't feel that good to me even after sparkle's release, feels like the team doesn't have max synergy between the characters. also i'm an auto enjoyer and "Seal"'s auto AI is revolting. every time the boss is dying she ults on someone else

I am POSITIVE that whoever designed Sparkle is a QQ enjoyer. Seriously every single part of her kit was MADE for QQ. Now my mono quantum can clear any side of the MOC like a breeze...

Also about Acheron... Yes, she deals more damage than every other DPS unit, IF (and thats a big IF) you have a gacha lightcone for her. Seriously, people have been so blinded by overhype that they can't see how F2P UNFRIENDLY Acheron really is. She has no real F2P lightcone option, and if you don't have a gacha LC like her signature or at least "Goodnight Sleep Well" S5, her damage falls into an abyss to the point even Xueyi deals more damage than her.

Now, if leaks are to be believed, next update will give an event LC that will be perfect for her, and I sincerely hope it turns out to be true...

tbh i regret pulling SW 😭😭i don't even run her with Acheron. She's been benched for a long time now... Black Swan, Pela and March 7th with trendmarket LC just feels way better. I have 120% effect hit rate march so she almost never misses her freeze along with trendmarket I can ult almost every turn.
When you think about it SW def shred should've been way higher since it's single target. It's only 45% def shred, add 8% more if you somehow manage to land def shred bug on the target. Meanwhile Pela def shred is 42% on all enemies and she has built in energy regen on her talent which makes it way comfier to run Pearls LC on her and it can give you 12-16% more defense shred.

Honestly mono Imaginary is looking to be pretty viable with Aventurine release and new trailblazer. Im excited to play it since it's pretty much the husbando element (I have all of the imaginary characters except Daniel)

This is honestly so cool, going over the history of teams. After Aventurine/ Robin come out, would you consider doing the history of fua teams?

As someone who uses seele since day one she has been keeping up really well for me (tbf I don’t go for 0 cycles but I believe those are just for show nothing else) and all the other damage dealers are just higher damage sticks (expect jingliu who is easy to build and *sigh* Acheron wich does need her signature [unless they give us some lightcone in the future that will work good on her] who just like mono quantum can go into any weakness [just like he said]), even with all of that I still believe seele is good and as someone who is using mono quantum with lynx and has an Acheron (s1 e1 not fully built tho) that she still performs pretty well and is fun to play (and I will say people not liking how the auto play AI works on seele just play yourself if you are not farming)
