This is the Easiest Tomato Trellis You Can Build for your Tomato Plants

If there is an easier way to make a tomato trellis, I want to know what it is. This is my version of a simple tomato trellis that can be built in just a few short minutes. There is no cutting involved, just 3 eight-foot 2x4, some string and some stakes and you have yourself a trellis tomato plants can climb.

I forgot to mention in my video that it would be a good idea to tie the tomato plant to the string every once in a while.

There are two types of tomato plants, there are determinant and indeterminant. Determinant, or bush-type plants, grow to a certain size and produce fruit and finish their life. Indeterminant plants continue growing in a vine until basically the end of the growing season, so here in Texas, I may be getting tomatoes into October/November.

Hey there! I know this was a year ago now, I'm just seeing it. May I make a suggestion? It's not in the best interest to plant corn and tomatoes so close together. Both are susceptible to the same pest, and they will compete for the same nutrients. Trellis looks great! Keep planting, friend :)
