Shoes with rubber soles for good traction. The steps at the Acropolis and the steps/ paths in Oia - Santorini are slippery. Also if visiting Santorini - a small flashlight to see where you are going on those narrow paths and steps in Oia at night. Several bottles of sunblock SPF 100 in checked bag and wear it daily. The sun is intense. A sun hat with a strap around neck so not to blow away. Extra pair sunglasses. The intense heat caused my frame to crack in half. My I phone also overheated and shut down several times so protect it from sun.

You are right, the right fabric is very important in the Greek summer. Linen, cotton, viscose.
Don't even think of packing polyester fabric, you will regret it... 🥵😉

For a similar trip older Greek mothers used to pack enough stuff for a platoon.
Spoons, forks, knives, plates, sheets, towels, toothpicks, cotton buds, 8 shirts, t-shirts, trousers, socks and 3 pair of shoes for every member of the family, several tupperware with pies, meat, veggies and fruits, unlimited amount of underwear and every necessity for a weekend to the nearby village.

Great tips today but may I also suggest a sunhat. The fabric style ones are great as they can be folded up and packed easily. Its so very hot in summer here, even in the shoulder season in the middle of the day and sunstroke is definitely dangerous. Enjoy your holiday Tiffany, love your channel. xx

Tiffany—Love the way you made everything you packed go with everything else. Great planning! Since I come for so long I buy most of my toiletries there to save suitcase room. It is a bit pricey but as you said both Apivita and Korres make good souvenirs. I think the pharmacy is the store I go to most in Greece, lol! And I love the Apivita after sun lotion!

I have been watching your videos for about a year and a half now and me and my fiance will be leaving Texas for a 15 day honeymoon on Oct. 10th. for mid October should i pack more "warm" clothes? will a light jacket suffice or should I be bringing a thicker coat?
