Just a couple of facts of my Rise LT with Airschock in XL // Weighs in at 21ish Kilogramms (Depending on tire choice) with an 630 w/h Battery. Im about 95 kgs with riding gear on. On boost I net about 1400 meters of elevation before having to juice up. Thats about 2, 5/ to 3hrs of riding. I usually run it in trail mode though which looks more like 2500 meters of Elevation and roughly around 6 hours of riding. Needles to say I don't happen to deplete the battery all that often. Its my first ever Emtb and it puts a smile on my face whenever I'm on it. A range test with the bigger battery and the extender would be madness in my opinion. I'm sure you could have a solid weekend doing that! As a Garmin watch user, I don't have a whole lot of trouble watching the battery % either! Thoroughly enjoy your videos and am very glad you keep it real! Kind greetings from Germany!

I’m only 30 seconds in and this is some of the best riding footage in any of your videos! It makes me want to ride

Great analysis of the bike - thanks, Jeff! So helpful!

I have the 2023 Rise and yes the frame is comfortably flexi with my 240lbs. There has been some tire rub on the both insides of the chain stay. Maybe I’m heavy enough to jump to a Wild instead.
I listen for the nuggets of detail of your shock tuning etc and other setup. Your use of the 0.8cu volume reducer is in line with my use of 0.7cu. Knowing this detail really supports my interpretation of what the Float-X needed on my 2023.
Thanks for all of your great videos. They inspire me to grow my trail skills.
You’ll see on your Patreon pages this week.

I'm in the UK and I took the exact same bike out for a Demo last October, I really liked it but hated the lack of battery indication so have upgraded my Garmin to be able to display the information from the bike, I ordered on in November and will hopefully get it in early Feb, I've gone for an entry level LT in the alloy instead of carbon.

Jeff, I pulled the trigger and bought my first Yamaha Moro 5! 😜
Would be great if you can do a review on it! Love to get your take on it. I'm impressed
so far.

I was debating a Rise or Levo eventually, but couldn't pass the great deals on the Moros now.
And their reviews were very convincing to boot!

My riding is part rocky, rooty, pedaly trails and part epic long rides with steep, technical, extended climbs. My choices are being narrowed down to the Rise LT and the Amflow. Not sure I want to roll the dice on an Amflow, and I hear it's even more flex than the rise.

Every other full power Emtb just seems too heavy for my style.

Great review and amazing riding! Maybe you should try the Propain Sresh it's a similar bike, and I think you'd enjoy it.

I ended up with a very similar bike, the Giant Trance Elite E+, which seems about half a generation behind... but I got it for less than $4k from the TPC closing, so I can't hate that. I think that this trail 140/150 travel size bike is about the perfect middle ground, like you talk about in the intended uses. Really happy with the bike, it's my first try with a Yamaha eBike motor. Not sure if you've ridden any of these Giant bikes, but worth comparing against if you do!

some interesting new pedal choices out there.. magnetic and the outlier pedal. Having only ever rode with flats and being a newer mtb owner, would love some of your input on new products and when to try clipless, I see you have some content on the topic but anything coming that looks at newer products?

Great video. Looks like a nice bike. A Garmin will solve the problem with knowing battery%

I haven’t pulled the trigger on an ebike yet, but it seems like the lighter versions are the way to go!

Courageous move mentioning the internally routed headset up front.

I wish more reviews could mention things that make a bike not something I’d ever own up front

Great riding! So the 3200 ft vertical range of the small battery is based on capping the max torque at 65NM? What is the max torque on trail mode?
