We need a video about promotion and advertising for pod shops it's the most difficult step in this work

Fantastic breakdown of print on demand marketplaces! 🌟 It's crucial for entrepreneurs to analyze both traffic and profit margins when selecting a platform, as this greatly impacts the potential success and scalability of their business.

Great video! If you're only focusing on t-shirts, then I agree on your Zazzle placement. But Zazzle makes it easy to transfer designs onto so-many-products! My t-shirts only sell seasonally there, BUT, once I started transferring those designs to other products, my Z sales ramped up quickly! 🤑

Opened 2nd Etsy shop, suspended within 12 hours, of course no email. I had 1 listing of a sunflower design I created, so no copyright. I appealed, shocker denied within a day. Paid the $15, no clue if they plan to refund this or not but if they keep $15 from all the new shops they automatically suspend that's gonna be pretty lucrative for them! Terrible.

Thank you for this informative video Morris. We appreciate the value you provide and the most of all, shoutout to Chris Heckman, with these platforms being undeniably inconsistent, Shopify is the way to go, especially for peeps in third world countries like mine where Etsy, Amazon et al do not operate. Leaves us no choice but be helpless yet we are good designers and product creators. Thanks again for the video, see you in the next one.

I found your channel because I have been researching the tee shirts business with print on demand. I'm still on the fence about this and have not pulled the trigger but I'm getting closer because of your channel and videos so thanks! I'm not sure what else I should know about all this so I'm checking your other videos

Good break down, Shimmy. I responded to one of your last vids in disagreement regarding comments on one particular POD, but I've since had my own experience. I've been going through a bad patch lately where this was seemed like the last straw as this POD had previously been my oasis.

Chiming in as a surface designer who licenses her designs to manufacturers - I generally earn in royalties 3% of net sales which I have to split 50/50 with my agent. While manufacturers sell wholesale to retail shops, then I hope for bulk sales of my designed item….it most likely comes out to the same profit to me per item as it does for the POD profit margins.

I used society 6 back in 2011-2013 and those 10% profit margins were horrendous. It did help my work gain visibility however, and I was scouted from there -but yeah those profit margins are horrendous. Interesting to see they haven't changed much!

5:54 i was puzzled too.. and then i thought that maybe that creator had a lot of experience on that platform and that he had been doing (relatively) well...

Amazon limits you with maximum product prices...it´s just rificilous. Maximum price per shirt in Germany is 19, 99€ I believe...

I’ve been checking out some of the POD companies in this video. First one is Viral Style, boy do they get slated on Trustpilot, loads of 1 star reviews. Me thinks they might be more suited to the “shite” category? 🤔😂 Very interesting video, thanks. Best wishes, Colin.

Great that you mention Chris Heckman. The guy has proof that building your own business actually works and can be rinsed and repeated

How would you rate tostadora? i heard it being mentioned in multiple POD youtuber's videos. It's a lot more Eurocentric meaning that designs where European languages (Spanish, French, German, etc) are used do better than English language designs.
