Umar ibn al-Khattab reported: In the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, there was a man named Abdullah who was nicknamed Donkey, and he would make the Prophet laugh. The Prophet lashed him for drinking wine, and one day the man was brought again and the Prophet ordered him to be lashed. Another man among the people said, “O Allah, curse him! How many times has he been brought?” The Prophet said, “Do not curse him. By Allah, I know that he loves Allah and his messenger.”

One day when i was a young kid i was at a mosque hearing a lecture and after a few minutes it was time to pray, when we were done praying me and the other kids saw a drunk man with tatoos and we asked him a few questions, and for one of them he said "It is not you who found the religion, it is HE who found you lost and guided you." and the older students and the shiekh talked to him when it was time to leave.

Not far from a central city masjid in an Australian city there was a small club where Muslim men sat playing cards and drinking beer. We walked there from the masjid, greeted the people there with salaams and talked about the benefits of salaat. One of them came with us towards the masjid but at the gate he stopped. People might think alcohol is just a "drink" or just something you drink for fun but it's poisonous, it slowly kills you overtime with alcohol poisoning, people who turn 18 mostly try alcohol immediately without thinking about what school said, smoking is worse, but I'll let you google it, it's like eating just sugar everyday, until diabetes hits you, just because it's delicious doesn't mean you should have it at all, you can't undo such actions, if poison was delicious and sweet, would you drink Of course not, that's what alcohol is and alcoholic drinks, it's just poison, there's drunk driving which causes car accidents, you don't think about the consequences of your actions before they actually hit you, and by then it's too late, please take my message if your a adult or teenager or kid, it's never "cool" or "it's trending" to slowly kill your body, I'm serious, stay safe, ❤
