How to fix VirtualBox 'Failed to open a session for the virtual machine' error (IMAGE_READ_ONLY)

Displayed error messages:
- VERR_VD_IMAGE_READ_ONLY
- AHCI: Failed to attach drive to port0

Solution:
- Run VirtualBox as Administrator

I had a similar error, but different error message. I found shutting down VirtualBox and restarting it, enabled me to start the lubuntu VM
