A Dyson swarm is more in the realm of possibility than a Dyson sphere. An advance enough civilization could make one. Humanity could build a Dyson swarm in the future by using the materials from mercury itself to build a solar array. The trick would be figuring out how to transmit the energy back to earth.

The Dyson sphere is a human idea, similar to an obsolete steam engine, in comparison to the aliens adaption of zero point energy and faster than light travel. Nah aliens wouldn't be caught dead wasting resources and energy to make something so un-useful to them

I'm more inclined to accept the latter over the former explanation. I just don't think that these so-called Dyson Spheres are physically and logistically able for any alien civilization, no matter how much more advanced that they are than us
