If you’re looking to apply for a Schengen visa (tourist visa for Europe), then this video covers everything you need to know as an Indian applying for a Schengen visa in 2022. I cover what the Schengen visa is, different types of Schengen visa, how and where to apply, the list of documents you need to submit to get your visa, the visa fee for the Schengen visa, and I’ve also tried to answer some of the questions you guys sent me on Instagram and some general tips for the Schengen visa. This is my fourth time applying for a Schengen visa in four years, so hopefully, this information I’ve shared based on my experience with VFS and the Schengen visa is useful and if you have any more questions, let me know in the comments!

Thank you for the video Kiki. My Schengen visa got rejected recently and I have another appointment for august. I have a US visa and visited US in 2018 yet my Schengen got rejected 😅 I hope I will get it this time.

Your video is so informative Kritika ❤️ Even I got Schengen visa three times and my bank balances are stated below:-
For Italy (2019) I had 1L (8 days), Swiss (2020) 93, 000/ (9 days), France (2022) 1.2L (9 days).
I try to keep 10, 000 per day per head basis and that works.
(All documentation I do by myself)

For train travel, certain countries like Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia do stamp your passport but they simply check the visa and stamp it!

My visa was issued however they misplaced my passport somewhere and i had to cancel my ticket twice(non refundable); Horrible experience

Visa duration depends on the travel plan submitted during the visa application. To keep it simple, the travel dates decide the visa duration.
