Hi, thanks for sharing this useful information. I had 2 questions, it would be great if you could provide any advice on these:
1. I recently renewed my Indian passport from UK, so would I have to quote the new passport details or both?
2. For the appointment, I would have to travel by flight to one of these visa centers. If I hand over all my documents (passport, brp etc) how to prove my identity/immigration status etc. when I'm flying back? Is there any process for it?

We have an appointment for italy visa at Edinburgh on the 21st July. Just noticed that the Bank doesn't show the middle name( second part of the first name, ie instead of Richard may Davies it shows Richard Davies) as in the passport. As the travel insurance also comes as part of bank account benefit it also shows the same.

Would that be a problem! Any experience!

Quick question about the France visa. Once we get the French visa I understand that that should be a your first port of entry . But once we go to France and come back to the UK . Next Time when we travel to Europe (for example - Spain ) do we have to touch down France each time before we travel to another European country? or can we travel directly to another country

Thank you for the helpful information. One question though, I didn't consider the few month in advance to make the application so I needed to cancel it in the France visa website but I could not. When I wanted to make another application it would not allow me as there is one exist already. any thought ?
