When it was current..I fell in love with Sevens character. That whole story arc was amazing. The growth..the back and forth with Janeway…ik it was tossed off as “eye candy” but as an actress omfg her delivery..her deadpan…wit. ..humor..vulnerability…sass. On and on. Skin tight catsuit aside..honestly include that shit because to act that well in something that uncomfortable I can’t even imagine. Yeah, I get that 7 of 9 will always be her iconic legacy. Still, like Nimoy before her, it was her OTHER roles that let her demonstrate her serious acting chops. I salute her 7of9 ole. It is her perpetual pension. Yet it's her subsequent roles that impress me most. Many talented folks are restricted by t he roles they're offered. She has had more opportunity to shoow her range and talent than most - but still (I suspect) nowhere NEAR her actual potential.
