I remembered many years ago reading a behind-the-scenes story about how Jeri Ryan was brought on to Voyager because ratings were dropping and the cast became stale. When she came on board, the ratings - for better or for worst - went off the chart. I think 7of9 was one of the best characters of Voyager. It says a lot about her eventual return on "Picard". Great to see Jeri Ryan back on the screen. She has aged beautifully.

The funny thing is, 7 of 9 was added as eye candy but her dramatic character, and fights with the captain, were by far the pithiest moments in Voyager legend. If you disagree, it's because you Earthlings think small...

Jeri Ryan was added for her sex appeal. But then she came in and crushed the role. Her journey to humanity was my favorite Star Trek story arc. I'm so glad they didn't kill her off! I would have been truly devastated. Voyager was my favorite series, The characters were so well done they became like real people!
