Bortnyk and Naroditsky's Jobava London

Introduction to the Jobava London Chess System
The Jobava London Chess System is an aggressive, flexible, and dynamic chess opening strategy named after the Georgian Grandmaster Baadur Jobava. As a chess prodigy, I, Daniel Naroditsky, have explored this fascinating system and aim to provide you with insights into its unique approach to help you dominate your games.

The Origins of the Jobava London System
The Jobava London System was developed by Baadur Jobava as a hybrid between the London System and the Jobava-Prie Attack. It combines the solidity of the London System with the attacking flair of the Jobava-Prie Attack, creating a versatile and effective opening weapon.

Key Concepts and Strategies
3.1. Pawn Structure
The Jobava London System features a pawn structure similar to the London System, with pawns on d4 and e3. This structure offers a solid foundation for the pieces and supports central control.

3.2. Piece Placement
Piece placement is crucial in the Jobava London System. Key squares include the f4-square for the dark-squared bishop and the e5-square for the knight. The pieces work together to create threats and exploit weaknesses in the opponent's position.

3.3. Attacking Potential
This system offers significant attacking potential, often resulting in sharp and decisive games. By coordinating pieces effectively, you can create threats against the opponent's king and capitalize on tactical opportunities.

Implementing the Jobava London System
4.1. Opening Preparation
To implement the Jobava London System, start with the moves 1.d4 and 2.Nf3, followed by 3.Bf4. This opening setup is flexible and allows for various transpositions depending on your opponent's responses.

Thank you all for the support and for being an incredible community <3 Just wanted to reaffirm that I don't want anyone to feel pressured at all, in any way, to get the course - and please feel free to be 100% honest with your feedback. Thanks!!

P.S. I will refund your purchase if you are not satisfied with the quality; if so, send me a message on Podia, where you purchased the course. Thanks :)

Bought it! Lot of fresh/combative lines (something like 544 independant lines) and TONS of instructive annotation. Well above and beyond any of the several chessable courses I've purchased. Looking forward to getting these lines down and adding this into the repertoire. Stoked!

People of Danya’s character are rare these days.

I hope he continues this way. So honest and free.

The fact they used lichess database to make sure to cover the actually most frequently played moves takes this course above many others!!

I was watching you stream when the news about Hans and your games with him came out. So I can't tell you how cool it is to see how neutrally and respectfully you treated him and his course. You're an inspiration, not just in chess but in life. I look forward to trying this course out. Thanks!

Also one suggestion: it would be super helpful if your comments for white moves appear in one colour, and black moves in another. Right now, they're both in blue text. A bit difficult to plough one's way through.

I'd love to see an Alapin course from Daniel himself, one of his top recommendations for sure

I've been playing the Jobava for the last year or so and had fantastic luck. I wanted an alternative to the regular London System for obvious reasons and even with my limited understanding, I have climbed from 1200 to 1560 using the Jobava as my main weapon with the white pieces. I cannot thank you enough for providing such a substantial course for me to continue my journey into the advanced realm of chess! So excited, thank you so much Daniel and Bortnyk.

This course is amazing. The level of annotation and analysis that has gone in is just extraordinary for the price point.

6:42 I really appreciate this approach. All the opening video lessons I've watched on YouTube tend to stick to lines following the top theory and at my level it's rare that I get games that follow theory. So I'm on my own after 4 or 5 moves and the underlying fundamental reasoning behind the opening moves is not covered in depth. When I can afford it I'll be getting your course.

Thank you for this course. This is one of those openings that is very trendy but not a lot of great teachers of the opening. Having watched many of your videos, you are definitely the right person to publish a course on the opening even if it is just a PGN. Again Thanks
