As a fan of the director, the actors and the franchise I can honestly say Ghostbusters was a horrible movie. It was the epitome of everything a reboot shouldn't be!

Personally I did not think that the Venom 2 stinger was setting up an Eddie Brock interest in Spiderman, it was plain as day to me that Venom himself was fixating on Spiderman, and the promise of them colliding was ultimately tied off in No Way Home.

Also, can we please stop acting like the 2016 Ghostbusters film was some solid flick that was unjustly review bombed by "trolls"? It was a mediocre film that attempted to hide behind a massive brand, wasted the talent of pretty much everyone involved, and then responded to criticism of such by whining about misogyny. It's not worth defending, especially 5 years later.

I heartily disagree that the Venom/Spider-Man one went nowhere. It left a glob of the symbiote behind so while we may not get Tom Hardy Venom in the MCU it means that Venom in a different form (Maybe Flash as Agent Venom) can show up.

I remember my son was a HUGE Power Rangers fan, so it was on TV as much as possible and I also remember every now and then I'd sit and watch and get really invested in them kicking the bad guys arses.... Ghostbusters' trailers looked bad, the promotional work looked bad, the movie came out and was bad.

I loved that they showed Eva Mendes's character again at the end of Fast Five, but i hated that they never brought her back for the sequels.
