Fun fact: This was actually a nod back to jurrasic park to pay tribute to the trilogy. In the original Mario movie, the technology used to make yoshi a dinosaur, was the texhnology they needed for the Dino’s in Jurassic park! Without Mario, we wouldn’t have Jurassic park. They play this scene with the theme song when yoshi hatches

Best memories growing up Mario bros were the best my fav game growing up seeing it the movies awesome and how yoshi ❤️❤️❤️

When the song started playing I was excited by notice that the melody is literally the same as the church in Zelda A Link to the Past, I believed for a few seconds that there might be something reminiscent of a future Zelda film, but I was disappointed to see that it was just a Yoshi egg. It's cool that we have Yoshi in a possible sequel, but between this and a Zelda movie, I'm definitely a lot more excited about a Zelda movie.
