Keep resetting the console to trigger the repair option, it will have more chance of repairing after being reset for some reason.

But when I try method 5 it says a problem has occurred and then tells me to do the same thing over and over again

its absolutely nothing wrong with your ps4 Sony just making every ps4 system mess up so your outta force to buy mew Extended storage or the ps5.

Tried restarting multiple times the hard drive has repaired itself multiple times still doesn't work now the ps4 is running slower than ever and an error has occurred in the system software keeps popping up CE 36329-3 keeps popping up and checked for system software update and says I have the most recent

Just moved and for a few days would randomly DC from a game because the extended drive was "disconnected" and I repaired and went on. This last time, it disconnected me from a game, then wont repair. Not sure if the cables are bad, or the device. Would suck to lose 2 TB of game data though. I did restart in safe mode and rebuild the database, helped for a bit, then the same issue came back. If I just get a PS5, will this be fixed, can I just get all my games off my PS4 from a data transfer or something?

help i format then it says its unsupported and says error ce-30005-8 but it works on other ps4

My ps4 does this every time I turn my ps4 on and it shuts off then I have to press the power button and it takes 1 minute and then this happens

did the safe mode thing and it deleted every game accept the games that were not on the hard drive

if it still doesnt work litrally just plug it into your laptop or whatever delete whats on it it sucks but just re download everything and youll be fine

I just had to unplug and replug my device back in serval times. Each time I plugged it back in I hit repair and if the error message popped up I just unplugged and replugged back into. It took maybe 6 tries and now it works normally

Luckily it was just a bunch of games I dont play much anymore besides one or two. You don't lose your data. Format it, upload your saves to online storage, delete the game, download it again and upload your saves..good to go🤙

I'm so lucky didn't work for a while just turned my ps4 off for a bit unplugged the external hard drive and reconnected then the repair went uo really slowly but it worked

IF NONE OF THIS WORKS ITS BECAUSE YOUR PS4 FOR SOME REASON IS NO LONGER COMPATIBLE WITH THAT HARD DRIVE, HAPPENED TO ME WITH MY 1TB AND USED A 4TB DRIVE INSTEAD AND IT WORKED FINE

Unfortunately nun worked so I'm gonna delete the storage and add it back then download my games back
