2 Peter 3 ( Paul is so misunderstood)
15 Paul,  according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you,  16 as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things,  in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Torah ( Law ), to their own destruction. 17 You therefore,  beloved, knowing this beforehand,  be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness,  18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him bethe glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Can only speak for our family.. even growing up.. NEVER was it a problem. My kids are in there 20's.. and forgive me .. I PRAISE GOD I have no babies right now. I lol.. have a problem ANYONE telling me what I could be telling my kids.

This is a typical simplistic way of looking at a very complex problem. The evangelical church hides behind pat answers, because they either don't know, or are afraid to discover that their theories are not quite correct? Yes, God made people male and female. He also gave people eyes to see, ears to hear etc, but sometimes these don't work properly and occasionally the medical profession has to step in. I was born blind, I now have poor vision due to medical help. Plus I have poor hearing. No Christian has ever explained to me in a satisfactory way the reason that some people are born 'Inter-sex' or 'Hermopradite'. The 'Church' at large needs to have a much more full discussion surrounding gender issues than it is having at the moment?? However we all tend to look at the outward appearance rather than what is going on inside the individual. The 'church' tends to think that if it isn't discussed then the entire issues will go away. No it won't, that approach simply encourages ignorance and eventually bigotry!
