I just did the interview yesterday. If you married and changed your name like I did 43 years ago, you need the marriage certificate.

Here’s my experience with it: if your home airport has Pre-Check, if your home airport is a known MESS or you frequently utilize hot mess airports (MCO, LAX, JFK, ATL) and you fly more than a few times per year, DO IT. It is worth every penny. Without it, I had to get to the airport two-three hours early. Now, I could show up 30 minutes before boarding starts and know that I’m gonna make my flight. I’ll never cut it that close, but I could if I wanted to.

THIS is exactly what I needed! Thank you. Most pre check clips and videos cove the paperwork but not the actual using of the service. Thank you!

Another plus. To renew you can go online. Don’t even have to go to back to Staples unless something has changed. Passport expired, name change, etc.

That is the best thing ever for traveling! Our entire family has been using it since 2015. $85 is not bad for five years and all of the time you save.
Sometimes when I book family members with our tickets who do NOT have it, their tickets get precheck also. Don’t know why, but we don’t complain. We fly United and occasionally American.

OMG. I flew out of Orland earlier this year and they tend to be very busy so getting through in like a minute is amazing.

My adult son has Autism and our interview is next week. We just flew back from Orlando last week and it was a total nightmare. My son came very close to having a meltdown and I even had the time scheduled through clear, so I am very glad to be doing this. Thank you so much for your information. ❤

You two….👍. I am actually headed out to my TSA PreCheck appointment this morning. This video was REALLY so pleasant to watch. Any anxieties I had going to this appointment have dissipated! Thanx!!!🙏

I just got Precheck last week because I just took a new job that will require me to travel a few times a month. My interview location was in a small office complex and they didn't really ask me any questions about why I wanted precheck but while I was chatting with the lady who was getting my fingerprints, I was telling her about my job so maybe that was enough. Anyway, it was super easy and I got my KTN email the very next day. It will be wonderful not to have to drag a laptop out of my bag and have shorter lines.

Great video! I don't fly that often but because I live in the Atlanta metro area I went ahead and signed up for it last year. Every adult should have a passport and TSA pre-check to save time! I never show my birth certificate to anyone! Every time I have to do the I-9 for employment that passport pays for itself. I also carry the passport card in my wallet as an added 2nd level ID.
These items are of great value for "adulting" and the life value is substantial. Passport book & card was $150 for 10 years. TSA Pre-check was $85 for 5 years. Now having the TSA Pre-check makes it easier to get other items like a TWIC card for anyone that works in transportation.

I am WAY late to the party - but *THANK YOU for this information!*

I am traveling soon for my first ever vacation and heading to Europe. I knew of the TSA lines and all the horror stories but I did not know of this program until watching your video. I made a few clicks, filled in a few forms, and I have an appointment tomorrow at a Staples to do exactly what you did in your presentation.

May Karma *_always_* smile upon you! 😊

I've had travel cards which pay for this option for years but never took advantage of it. Ronya, thanks for taking the time to show us the ease of the process.

When I first read about Precheck and Global Entry, it indicated that I would have enroll at the airport, as you mentioned. I figured that, one day, I'd just arrive early for a flight and take care of it then. However, I wasn't sure how long or involved it was. So, I just never did it.

Now I know I can just swing by Staples the next time I'm in town. That's far less stressful than dealing with Atlanta traffic.👍🏻
