THE BEST MAP GUIDE

A lot of people have been asking me how I made my map room, so here's a quick and easy tutorial/guide for you to use!

Unfortunately I play on a version of Minecraft where I can’t mark banners on my map

I believe you can also combine 9 normal maps to get 1 mega map, I don’t know how long you can do that for, I guess with a cartography table that copies all the space but gets rid of the past work penalty you could do it forever, that said 9 mega maps combined in to a Super map should be more than enough for a baseline main map wall of your world

It looks like there's a map on two adjacent surfaces (floor and one block on the wall) I was just curious how you were able to put item frames like that or if it's a mod (I use bedrock so java might differ)

Does the map update whenever you put a banner?

Don’t you have to update these single maps every time you build something in there ?
