Why is split for me so fckin attackersided? Like most games I play on split go 10 2 for the attackers in the first half and then it gets comebacked by the new attackers

I lost my last split game (ascendant 1) to a team with lots of flashes and rush-down agents. I was Cypher, and prioritised holding site from main seeing as two of my teammates kept playing mid, and I felt that Cypher isn't as strong mid as he is on site. The enemy team kept stomping my teammates mid, and making defending nearly impossible since they could push either way and our team was separated. How do I deal with this? Was it just a team dif seeing as my teammates died the same way every round without changing their approach? Should I have gone mid even though Cypher isn't as strong there, and left holding site to one of the duelists? Should we have played more aggressively to take mid control? It felt really overwhelming to consistently be in a 5v3 or 4v3 where they had total mid control, but I had no clue how to effectively fight back

i think split is by far the least fair map in ranked. its genuinely the only map that i have never had more or less than a 50% wr on. i have a 70% wr overall in immortal 3 and if split comes up no matter what i do its just a 50/50. it needs to be perma removed from ranked play its just disgusting.

I hate this map. I have like 20% win rate in this map. I mainly play astra but can't seem to win.
I have lost so many rank up games just because of this map.

I think fracture is worst I like split
