That’s me in a nutshell and I have been married 23 yrs, You just haven’t met the right person. Someone who likes the fact you are hard working, that doesn’t like clinging and is also very busy. That knows you are okay when he is away as well. That is your person.

Ppl act like im weird for detaching easily when things go completely left but for me, it's the opposite thinking. Too many ppl attach to an idea/image someone presented to you and didnt live up to; and dont wanna let go even if the dang thing is KILLING you mentally, emotionally and spiritually while I'm out here choosing myself and my wellness first. Its something very strange about people who choose to embed themselves in toxicity and never let go. That'll never be me

The way I detach very easily is crazy. Somebody just told me I have commitment issues because I pack my shit and leave. I told him he wasn’t my therapist, but then started pondering on it💀🤔

That’s me, or I rather say was me… I thought it was just part of who I was until I went to therapy because of a resurfaced situation from my very early teens. I had a lot of suppressed, severe childhood trauma. Not saying this is the case for you. But I can def relate and wanted to share this to somehow help someone who’s like this and maybe doesn’t understand why. Sending love and positive vibes!
