The Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris is reopening in December five years after a fire ravaged the historic landmark. "CBS Saturday Morning" took a closer look at the efforts to restore the cathedral to its former glory.

Bravo to all the artisans and workers and also to President Macron who in 2019 after the fire, promised that Notre-Dame would be rebuilt in five years.

It's mainly thanks to the sacrifices, the dedication to the end, and the great professionalism of the Paris Firefighters, the famous and oldest unit of professional firefighters in the world. It should also be noted that it's a military company officially created by Napoleon I (again him ^^) in 1811. They are therefore above all soldiers of the French Army and the sacrifice for the community, even their life if necessary, is therefore part of their soul.

What if the Notre Dame Architects announced they wanted to renovate the Cathedral. Could they have raised the necessary funds on a renovation appeal, itself?
