A tip, if you do not mind, window film for the bathroom and closet. You can get different types, the point being to provide privacy while not blocking light(for the bathroom) and in the closet to prevent fading of clothes as your window and rods are next to one another.
Love all you both have done.

It’s looking great. The piece from the sink cutout could be finished as a cutting board to fit over your stove for extra counter/prep area…before anyone comments, she knows to remove before using the stove.

I find myself tearing up more often as she ends each video, knowing she is so close to being able to move into her own home with Mellow. She’s worked very hard with her father. She’s going to know every square inch of her home inside and out and what went into each area. Just seeing her trying to contain her excitement fills my heart. I’m overjoyed for this sweet young lady.

Really looking nice. Something I want to add is that I love your way of presenting the ad. It was nice that you continued the remodeling footage while discussing your sponsor. Very smart and non-intrusive. That is the sole reason that I did not skip the ad. Great job. Keep up the good work.

Yes to the Hoosier cabinet being cream! You could get really cute sage green knobs for the drawers to tie into the cabinets.

A big rug in your bedroom will protect the floor and give you a warm place to step when getting out of bed on cold winter mornings.

You never seem tired! I'm flabbergasted by your skill level. And the way you just make everything work. Just wow.

Tia, tip on you feeders. You will notice this spring, a ton of sunflower sprouts coming up at the base. I decided last year to just let my sprouts do what they wanted to see how far they'd go and i ended up with the most beautiful, unintentional giant sunflower patch that brought in bees, hummingbirds, golden finches and so much more. 😊 It became a chore to get under and around the huge leaves and stalks to fill the feeders, but they enjoyed the covert positions and the shade for feeding so i suffered it. Lol. By fall, a created a stone perimeter at the bottom and just filled it with some gravel from the driveway to pretty up the muddy, shell and shit filled ground below it all and i pulled the stalks out once they died. I cut the heads off the sunflowers (12 total) and dried them in my shed in a window and once the seeds were dried, i rubbed them out into old ice cream buckets with a lid and kept the platform feeder filled this winter for the cardinals and bluejays. It will become a routine each year for me. Its a beautiful display of the natural circle of plant and animal life working in tandem to give back to nature what it provides in return. ❤❤

7:50 I work in museums so I’ve put together my fair share of broken ceramics and that lamp looks salvable. Look like a clean break so you can assemble it like a puzzle. If it’s going to be used indoors you can glue it back together. Normally I’d use dissolvable glue and a sandbox to slowly piece it together but you don’t have to be that careful.

Use masking tape to put it all together so you know what order to go in being careful not to grind the edges or you’ll create bigger gaps that make it harder to fit the pieces together properly. Then use clear two part epoxy to put it back together. Don’t use super glue, it won’t work. Mix the glue in several tiny batches and use a tooth pick to apply thin lines to one side of the join towards to back if you can. When the pieces are perfectly aligned either hold or use the masking tape to keep the pieces tightly together. I’m a perfectionist and wouldn’t trust tape but that’s just me lol.Go slowly and make sure the joins are completely flush. This is not a quick process but it is a satisfying one and leaves you with a very durable piece of ceramic.

If it’s glazed, not painted, before the epoxy cures use alcohol to remove any export reside that makes it way to the visible. Expos can yellow overtime so you don’t want to see that.

A new washer & dryer is truly a luxury you have earned.

There are also transparent decals you can put on the window that reflect light in ways that birds can see vividly. They don’t block your view but it gives birds an indicator that there’s a window there. Thank you for caring for your birds 😊

I'm so sorry that your original light fixture broke. But yeah, I've lived through that with the terracotta tile that my husband absolutely insisted we must have in a kitchen remodel. After we left that house and went on to another I told him never ever again. An awful lot of breakage happens at the sink area or in front of cabinets where you have dishes/glassware stored, which makes sense of course. It will help to put down rugs right at those spots. It may save a lot of dishes. I speak from sad experience. I cried the day I broke the pottery bread mixing bowl my mother-in-law had given us for a wedding gift that had been her mother's. Your light fixtures are beautiful. I look forward to you every single week. I agree with another fan who said keep the series going through your outside renovations. I know I'll watch!

My dad passed away in 2022, and it makes me so nostalgic to see you with your dad in these videos. My dad was also the kind of dad who was always there to help with whatever I needed. It’s so obvious how much your dad loves you. Give him lots of big hugs!

Good morning Tia, so once the interior is completed, maybe the basement and the exterior next? I just don’t want our Sunday morning routine to end!
