I know a lot of people can feel intimidated which is why I created this tutorial on how to set up an Etsy shop step by step. It is very easy and seeing someone else do it makes it feel much easier!

In order to start an Etsy shop you need the following:
- an idea of what you want to sell
- a name picked out for your new Etsy store (be flexible as many are taken)
- a credit or debit card to pay eventual listing fees
- your personal information about yourself and business
- product listing information (you need one listing but you can also just put in basics and edit it later!)

I did not realize this simple "Rule" for a few years that just like Google- Etsy & Ebay etc, are all SEARCH ENGINE BASED! Meaning... Those first five words of your title page of what you are selling?🤔 Is very Crucial to your Business! You want people to land on & see your item(s)- So Just Be smart/Sensible & think about what Words those certain customers are going to type in to find that product that he/she is looking for.. and your ad will pop up! Thankyou - was having difficulty getting my parameters set up. When you upload your digital file to Etsy for "digital item for sale" do you upload all versions of the item - eg. aspect ratios - for different sized prints eg. 4 x 6, 5 x 7 etc. So for a total of 5 files per item?

Hello. I'm a new seller on Etsy I sell digital fan art I have a few questions I really need to know ok I have about forty one listing in my shop . Now I just noticed this a few weeks ago all my listings are on auto renew so on June 5 they changed seven of my listing to Oct now I keep getting the run around. I want to know do they charge you when they repost a listing like I have seven for now do they charge you then or they charge you when they buy a item. Also I read that when it's sold the buyer buys portions of your quality I always put down 999 so does that still happens even when you selling digital fan art. Theres so many hoops to jump.
Business name, theres a name i have in mind that reflects me and my future store.
Ive searched my chosen name on the Business Australia website to make sure that name isnt already taken and its not which is good.

However, do i need to pay monthly to register my business name to start an etsy shop?
I want to make things i was to make an etsy page and maje an email amd make it wonderful but - am i allowed to make an etsy shop with my chosen store name that i have not Registered with NSW or have an ABN?

Would you create a Facebook page to sell your items and then give your potential customers your bsb and account number or do u open new bank and give them those details so they cant steal your bank account details or do you leave a link to your etsy store so they have to make the purchase through there?
