This was a passion project of mine that I was working on for several weeks before I quit Genshin earlier in 2023, which I've just got back around to wrapping up. There are already a lot of excellent guides on the topic of Artifact Farming, so this video might not bring anything groundbreaking to the table, but I'm still hoping there are some interesting things you can take away from the approach I've taken in tackling this topic.

I think one thing to consider while looking at artifacts tho is, that you don't only build one character, but multiple ones, which means that "leftover" artifacts can still be an dps increase for your other characters.

Damn the quality of your videos is so top notch. You present high level concepts in such a digestible form. I’m a day one player who basically lives in the abyss, so I don’t necessarily learn a lot of new things. But it’s still so nice to get a refresher of this quality every once in a while. Especially when it’s supported by great material like this simulation. I‘d definitely send every new player your way since your videos could be super valuable to them.

another advantage to strongboxing is that it lets you skip domains with only one good set (VV/maidens) and instead farm a more resin efficient domain like golden troupe or gilded, effectively farming 3 sets at the same time. I'd love to see how this pans out in the simulation

I didn't know about the strongbox artifacts being more likely to have 4 substats. This is a great breakdown, and really seems similar to my experience building characters like Xiangling vs characters like Ayaka.

Id say youre the best Genshin Guide maker. Not only do you mostly focus on Spiral abyss, which is arguably the only challenging content, but you did so with really good explanation on how enemy Ai behaves as well as good positioning which helps all players unlike the other CC who just focuses on teams. Veteran players dont need to be told which team works for a chamber but positioning certainly helps, because, lets face it, when you have too many units already, sometimes your play can be pretty unoptimized. Its the same with this video, while veterans already uses the artifact strongbox and are aware of efficient resin use, there are still minor things you managed to impart us, such as that added chance of 4 substats on strongbox artifact. I dont think ibe heard CC's talk about that. Lastly, your clear and easy to understand explanations free from annoying and unnecessary effects coupled with a calm voice makes following the topic easier.
I hope more people see your content especially the newer players.

"You will slowly accumulate an abundance of artifact experience" Dude I have literally nothing to feed into new artifacts. Playing since 2020 and the only way I can easily +20 an artifact is if I feed it one of my +20 double crit artifacts that rolled twice into some useless stat and pray the new artifact is at least as good or better than the one I sacrificed.

The fact that artifacts greatly effect how strong your characters are I find it shocking that there is absolutely 0 guarantees you will ever get something to improve your character. We have no say on set, on piece, on main stat, or on substats. We only have a say on which ones we decide to level. I wish outside of strongboxing we had a say on something since it affects your characters strength greatly.

Since being a day 1 player I mostly knew all of these tips shown on the video, but it is nice to finally put it all on numbers and finally see it. Man I really wished I could've seen a video like this back when I started playing genshin, the amount of information packed in this video is straight up crazy.
