So they require you to make 5 transactions a month to be eligible to earn points right? So is that 5 transactions plus your rent payment or is rent included in the 5 transactions. And what if I split my rent payment into 5 equal payments, would that count for 5 transactions?

I just hate that they quietly removed converting to AAdvantage points in June without any comms whatsoever.

Disaster waiting to happen. Same thing as S&H Green Stamps coupons for groceries, double coupons on Wednesdays and coupons to use at department stores and restaurants. What happened? FEC ILLEGAL RULE In other words, great idea but you cannot just use coupons for the only places that take your coupons. Like I could use coupons at Montgomery Wards but not at Sears. Unfair practice getting customers to go to Montgomery Wards. That's why this is not a common practice, we've been through all the stuff before, the young people don't remember but us older people sure do! Give it until the end of the year before straight nosedive. You can see it coming if you understand what's happening.

They should have make that 1x purchases into 2x instead by default. It'll entice daily spending.

I only benefited rent payments and transferring points to American Airlines, so now it’s just rent. Air France, and Avianca are now my main airlines of choice now, so it’s all good still. It’s also a good card since I’m living in Colombia when Amex is not taken.
