How strong is Cooler? (Dragon Ball Z)

Ah, it sure is fun figuring out the power of characters that don't have legitimate power levels. All things considered, I'd say this was a good attempt at finding a definitive level for Cooler

I heard an argument about Goku using Kaioken against Cooler in this movie, but it's invisible. However you can hear it. Also in episode 91 Goku uses an invisible Kaioken against 50% Freeza, since we never see the aura yet, King Kai and the others state that he was already using it.

Cooler movie came out on July 20, 1991 when Goku was still fighting Frieza in the anime who powered up to 100% just a week prior and even in the manga Goku hasn't returned from Yardrat yet(manga chapter where Goku came to earth came out like 4 day before movie got released). The movie takes place around may of 763 of db timeline which is less than half a year after the fight with Frieza which happened in december of 762 within DB timeline. Trunks is supposed to show up in august of 764, so the movie takes place more than a year before Trunks arrives. So yeah it's not Gohan who has wrong hair you are just wrong about movie timeline placement.
That is why both Goku and Cooler don't know instant transmission in the first Cooler movie and why Goku can't easily go SSJ, because movie creators didn't know Goku would be able to easily go SSJ after his return as that hasn't happened even in the manga yet, by movie creators logic Goku in the movie is just Namek saga Goku who returned to earth right after defeating Frieza and it takes place instead of Yardat since they had no idea at the time how things will unfold and how exactly he'll return. That is also why Cooler comes to avenge Frieza and does not mention avenging his father because that hasn't happened yet, and the reason this version of Goku can keep up with Cooler is because Cooler is weaker than Frieza(remember the dates when movie was released and Takao Koyama said movie begun production 6 month prior to that so even in the manga Frieza hasn't shown 100% yet) and is only stronger than Frieza after he transforms into his final form which is stated in daizenshuu 6 and 7 which perfectly lines up with statement from the movie where Goku says that Cooler is stronger than Frieza only after Cooler transforms into his final form.
And you using Coolers "he might have" and saying base Goku>SSJ on namek is taking things wayyy out of context, those are not definitive statements, it's just Cooler being impressed.

Now with this information it's very clear it's not Goku being super strong nor Cooler, it's Goku right after namek fighting someone who is not even stronger than Frieza until after the transformation. So it's not surprising Cooler is impressed by Goku, even on namek Goku with KKx20 had power level of 60 million(and yes he was using it the same way he was vs Frieza, all movies just mirror canon events).

Um a kioken times 20 Kamehameha would equal the multiplier of ssj ( I.e. 50 times base) so it has to be a kioken times10 Kamehameha instead ( considering that ssj bodied cooler)

There’s something you forgot, when goku states cooler > frieza this should also include mecha frieza since goku stated that he sensed friezas power when trunks fought him.mecha friezas supernova was stated to be 10x stronger than the one he used to destroy namek meaning mecha friezas full power would be 600 million (frieza 50% = 60 million) this means that base gokus power in movie 5 would be 600 million at least instead of 120 million.so these characters are 5 times stronger than what you said they were.

It took Cooler reaching his Final Form for Goku to come to that conclusion. Based on the context, Fourth Form Cooler and Base Goku aren't as powerful as Final Form Frieza at 100 percent.

According to V-Jump, Final Form Cooler has a power level of 470 million. That falls more in line with the narrative as well as the scaling, since the movies scale higher. Super Saiyan Goku would have to be above 470 million which is well above what he would've been in the main continuity by this point.
