How Strong is Cooler?

Cooler, one of the baddest and coolest villains in DBZ (no pun intended) is somewhat looked down upon within the community, especially with the need to compare to Frieza. That is why we are looking into his entire career to figure how if he is truly worthy for the title as the strongest in the universe.

I’ll answer a few more questions people might bring up after watching the video:
Q: Didn’t Cooler say he can destroy the sun in Movie 5?
A: Yes, he did but that was English Dub only and was not in the original Japanese Dub. Though given the range of power I gave to him, it coincidentally checks out.


Q: No mention of Meta-Cooler’s power or comparison to Cell?
A: Due to the lack of feats within his 2nd film, along with the abundance of contradictions to say it occurs during the cell games, I didn’t want to speculate Meta-Cooler’s power with little evidence. Hence why Meta-Cooler’s stats for power are open-ended.


Q: Was there a reason to bring up all of Cooler’s game appearances?
A: Due to the convolution of Xenoverse and Heroes, technically it views all games, anime, specials, and so on as canon. Meaning in a way, the heroes Cooler would be capable of doing everything all past incarnations has done but for the sake of organization, I separated each version just to not get confusing for the viewer.


Q: You forgot to bring up [insert random cooler fact here] Numbers. U dum dum.
A: I’m sure I did miss something given how long he has existed but because it was meant to explain Cooler’s power, not his entire history in general. I didn’t want to bring up other potential obscure differences that don’t at all change how he is portrayed in strength.


Q: But the anime and GT tho?
A: Yes, I’m sure people will still have grips on that but regardless of what you want to believe, Toriyama, Koyama and the guides heavily disagree with that connection which is why I for the sake of “throwing a bone” said that IF he does correlate to the anime, he is placed within that 3 sagas range I brought up. Either way, I firmly believe that Cooler’s movies are in their own universe with their own weird scaling, just like how the future androids are weaker than their present selves just cuz different realities, I guess.

I like to think that he exists off screen. He, unlike his brother, trains and doesn't let his ego gets in his way. He shows up after frieza black is defeated and EVERYBODY is shocked and shits bricks. Like there's another frieza that isn't held back by his ego and trains and beats the ever lasting shit out of frieza black and ultra ego vegeta and ultra instinct goku. Even making beerus impressed with the power he optained.

For such a small channel, I didnt expect such a high quality video, bravo. Cooler has got to be one of my favorite villains in all of DB, only being rivalled by Cell and Z Broly, and I hope for him to get the Broly treatment and be made cannon, which with the way the manga is going, seems like it could be possible.

Not counting gods but counting movie villains, his “strongest in the universe” statement would almost be true honestly. Cell, Janemba, and 13 didn’t exist yet. Buu, Bojack, Tapion, and Hirudegarn were sealed. Vegeta didn’t have SSJ, and Trunks was in a different timeline. This would arguably mean the only people stronger than him at that moment would be Goku and maybe Broly, but you could also argue Broly would be in a suppressed state at this point. Ultimately his statement did have some merit.

Something I always wondered is why there is so little of the Evolved Meta Cooler.
You know, the fifth big form, but now he is in Meta. Skip out on the Gold or whatever because linking him with the Big Getti Star lets him survive more.
