I know May 1st seems very far away but for students taking the AP Chem exam it will come quickly. It’s never too early to start to prepare for this beast of an exam.

My biggest tip for AP Chem students is to try to work Chemistry problems for an hour a day prior to the exam. I know this is much easier said than done, so start small. Try to fit in just 30 minutes a day and work up to an hour. Or split it up, try for two 30 minute sessions.

Don’t just look over your notes or completed practice problems and say to yourself “Ohh I remember” or “I understand”. Completing practice problems is the best way to ensure you are able to apply the concepts you have learned. When you don’t get one correct, it’s an opportunity to learn.
